Over 75 papers in the scientific programme with 150 contributing authors.
Delegates attending ICC 2011 will represent 20 national societies of the International
Federation of Classification Societies.
The Conference incorporates a special Symposium on Bourdieu and Geometric Data Analysis.
There will be a workshop leading in to this Symposium on Monday 11 July and a free
copy of SPAD software will be available for every participant.
The Conference will be addressed by Grace Solomonoff, whose late husband Ray
Solomonoff was a founder of the field of artificial intelligence and in particular an
inventor of Kolmogorov algorithmic information theory.
There will be invited presentations by Adrian Raftery, on model-based clustering, and by
Keith van Rijsbergen, on clustering and classification in information retrieval.
