NEW DEADLINE: 30th June 2008

AI-08, the Twenty-first Australasian Joint Conference on Artificial
Intelligence will be held for the first time in New Zealand, in
Auckland from December 1 - 5, 2008. The conference is hosted by
Auckland University of Technology and will be held in the University
conference centre.

TOPIC AND TARGET GROUP

The AI-08 committee now invites you to submit original and unpublished
technical papers on all aspects of AI and in particular those related
to the following topics:

Agents and Multi-Agent Systems
AI Applications
Constraint Satisfaction
Data Mining
Evolutionary Computing
Fuzzy Systems
Intelligent Vision and Image Processing
Knowledge Acquisition
Knowledge Representation and Reasoning
Machine Learning
Natural Language Processing
Planning and Scheduling
Robotics
Search
Uncertainty in AI
Web Intelligence


SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Papers are to be submitted electronically online in PDF format via
easychair (http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ai08) and are
limited to 10 pages in length including all figures, references, etc.
Papers must be formatted following Springer's Lecture Notes in
Computer Science/Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence style
(http://www.springer.com/lncs).

REVIEW PROCESS

All submissions must be in a form suitable for "double-blind" review.
Each submission will be subject to peer review by the AI-08 Programme
Committee in two rounds coordinated by an international Senior
Programme Committee.

Authors will also have the opportunity to provide a short "rebuttal"
of the reviews before final decisions are made. Notification of
acceptance or rejection will be sent via e-mail by around August 18,
