The Computer Journal presents: "The Geometry of Information Retrieval and
the Dimensions of Perception" by Keith van Rijsbergen.

Time: 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start
The Computer Journal has launched a series of lectures. Each lecture
consists of a presented paper with invited responses. The paper as well
as the responses and questions from the floor are published in the
journal. The next Computer Journal Lecture will be by Prof. Keith van
Rijsbergen on the theme of Geometry of Information Retrieval.
The Talk
Keith van Rijsbergen will show how geometry plays a significant role in
the modelling of information retrieval systems.
