PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT
CSNA 2002
MADISON, WISCONSIN
13 - 16 JUNE 2002


CONFERENCE.  The annual meeting of the Classification Society of North
America will be held in Madison, Wisconsin,
from 13 June to 16 June, 2002 (Thursday to Sunday).

All sessions are scheduled for the Pyle Center, a University of Wisconsin
conference center attractively situated
on the shore of Lake Mendota.

Two half-day short courses will be offered on 13 June. Technical sessions
are scheduled for 14, 15 and 16 June.
Several outstanding speakers have been invited and we are waiting for final
decisions from some speakers.
In addition, a session in memory of John van Ryzin is planned.
