send an abstract which must be received by December 31, 2000.

Electronically submitted abstracts must be in ASCII format, up to
250 words.

If unavoidable, typed abstracts of length not more than one page

The abstracts will be evaluated by the Program Committee. Please
make them as transparent as possible.

Selected papers will be published in a special volume of
Computational Statistics and Data Analysis. These will undergo
the normal review process of CSDA. Papers should be submitted
to the address given above by September 15, 2001 (deadline).
