Dr. Phillip Good will offer his short course "Modeling in R" March 31
April 21, online at statistics.com. This course will show you how to use R
to create
models for use in classification and prediction. You will be introduced to
advanced graphing methods as needed. Modeling techniques include OLS, LAD,
and EIV regression, quantile regression, and decision trees.
Dr. Phillip Good is the author of “Introduction to Statistics via
Resampling Methods and R” (Wiley, 2005), and numerous other
books. Participants will interact with Prof. Good via a private
discussion board; the course will require about 5-15 hours per week and
there are no set hours when you must be online.
