at the 2005 CSNA/Interface meetings presented by Jay Magidson and Tony
Babinec, you may wish to know that Dr. Magidson will be offering a course on
finite mixture models August 5 - September 2 online at:

Latent class/finite mixture models offer numerous advantages over
traditional clustering approaches.  The free demo version of Latent GOLD,
will allow you to estimate models on the various sample data sets used in
this course.

Participants will be able to interact with each other and with the
